Production Artist

One of Canada’s fastest growing trade publishers is seeking an energetic and talented Production Artist. The successful candidate will be responsible for rough layouts through to the completion of print and on-line magazines and ad material.

You will offer the following:

  • Post secondary education in graphic design
  • Four years Mac experience – preferably with magazines and ad layout
  • Proficiency in InDesign, Quark Xpress, and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of designing and uploading web advertising and copy
  • Scanning/colour correction skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Great organizational abilities as well as excellent computer and Internet skills
  • Desire to create good design with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
