We are seeking a resourceful, organized individual to fill the one-year contract role of Digital Coordinator at Annex Business Media.
The Digital Coordinator is responsible for the deployment of email marketing campaigns across all of our Business-to-Business markets. These email campaigns include newsletters, videos, circulation notifications and exclusive advertisements sent out on behalf of our advertisers. The emails are sent to targeted industries across Canada.
The Digital Coordinator will work within the exciting, fast-paced digital department. The team is made up of web programmers, designers and other coordinators who all work together to distribute industry-exclusive content to our email subscribers and website visitors.
In addition to being a team player, the Digital Coordinator must have strong communication skills, be well organized and have an eye for detail. The position involves working closely with various departments to ensure the product is created and deployed to the client’s specifications, in a timely manner.
You will have a post-secondary education in marketing, advertising or a related field combined with a minimum of one year of experience in online marketing. Solid experience with MS Office Suite is required while experience with mailchimp and HTML would be an asset. You’re an excellent communicator with the ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment.

Digital Editor - Manufacturing
Exporting is the lifeblood of Canada’s economy, yet many small to medium enterprises struggle to find their way through a maze of regulations and paperwork. That’s where you come in.
Annex Business Media is launching an interactive website to guide Canadian manufacturers through the export process, and we need someone to help us build and maintain this new online tool. We are looking for a communicator with a track record of breaking complex processes down into simple steps that anyone can follow. The role includes working with our manufacturing team in Toronto to take this online project from concept to launch, including creating and curating all content.
You are a digital native who understands the flow, behavior and needs of a B2B audience. You hold a secondary degree in communications, journalism, or business, and demonstrate the following:
- The ability to write concise, accurate copy to tight deadlines; this includes news, how-to, lists and features.
- Proven interviewing skills.
- The ability to learn new subject matter quickly and to grasp the major trends in business and industry and how they relate to/benefit a reader.
- A track record of managing multiple, cascading deadlines.Fact-based reporting in a variety of mediums, including text, graphics, video, audio, social media etc…
- Conceptual thinking and the ability to visualize a project as a whole and in its parts long before that project has been completed.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills matched with a professional style and polished business etiquette.
An understanding of manufacturing, exporting and Canadian politics would put you in the front of the line, as would a history of teamwork and project execution.
